Why Augmenta?
I'm Aaron Metcalf, founder of Augmenta Consulting LC. My background spans accounting, an MBA, project management (PMP), and a law degree (JD).
My formative perspective was built inside WesTech Engineering, a ~$25M specialty equipment firm. Starting in accounting and moving into special projects, I handled international entity setup, cross-border banking, letters of credit, and collections. WesTech had outstanding technical capability, but wrestled with severe operational realities: tight working capital, punishing contract terms, and receivables stuck behind multi-tier payment cascades on industrial projects.
I pursued my Juris Doctor specifically to understand how commercial agreements intersect with financial survival. My role is not to act as your attorney. It is to be the sound business advisor who helps you identify operational and commercial risk, ask better questions, and turn complex problems into practical next steps.
